We aim to be a trusted company that meets the expectations of all of our stakeholders, and we believe that one of the prerequisites for this is a management stance that places emphasis on compliance.
We have set up a compliance department within our CSR Promotion Department and are working to strengthen compliance within the Group.
We have established a “Compliance Code”, making it known to all officers and employees of the Group that actions that violate laws and social norms or betray our customers' trust will not be permitted, and are striving to raise awareness of compliance.
We have set up a contact point where, if there are any violations of laws and/or unethical behavior occurring in the company's day-to-day business, or if there is a risk such occurrence, officers and employees of our group, as well as officers and employees of our business partners, can consult us or report the matter to us, and we are working on early detection of inappropriate events.
The Group conducts a review of risks each year and selects priority risks. For priority risks, we formulate and implement concrete risk-reduction measures, as well as conducting monitoring, enlightenment, and educational activities to prevent such risks becoming a reality.
We acquired the Privacy Mark in 2007, and in accordance with our personal information protection management system, we conduct voluntary inspections of our operational status, undergo audits by internal auditors, and run e-learning programs for all employees. In addition, as an internal system, we have appointed "privacy leaders" in each department to promote thorough awareness within the department, as well as conducting spontaneous and continuous enlightenment activities with the aim of raising awareness.
Through the following training and communication of information, we are working to raise compliance awareness among the officers and employees of the Group.
Training upon joining the company and upon promotion
Training for all employees via e-learning
Group training according to rank
Dissemination compliance information via the company intranet
Posting of educational posters and raising awareness in accordance with the compliance code in all workplaces
At our company, the Audit Department cooperates with audit firms, etc., in conducting internal audits to enhance the Group's internal control function.
